It was our family's dream to bring the taste of the homemade Cantonese cuisine to the neighborhoods surrounding our Arlington Heights location. We run an open kitchen that features the skills of head chef Tony and his wife Lina. We offer the customers the opportunity to watch their food being prepared and stir fried in large woks!
With nearly 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Tony's intuitive style creates appetizing Cantonese dishes that range from Black Pepper Steak to Shrimp Cantonese Chow Mein. With his quick hands and expertise in sauces, he aims to provide customers with piping hot dishes that satisfy their taste buds. Lina assists Tony in the kitchen at times and be sure that she will always have a smile for you when you walk in the door. With China Kitchen being a small family business, they are both truly "Jacks of all trades". In addition to this dedicated husband and wife team, you'll often find other family members, including Tony's brother Phillip, daughter Cindy and son-in-law Pete, helping out. Stop in and let this dynamic duo pull together a meal that is made just the way you like it.
Over the past few years, the economy has put pressures on our restaurant as well as our customers. We are grateful that we continue to have the humbling opportunity to share our dream and delicious dishes with our customers. While 2013 has only just begun, it is already a momentous year for our little carry-out because we are pleased to be celebrating our 20th anniversary!
